A new and better version of checkroot for Debian/Ubuntu is available now. It allows you to verify your root file system and spot rootkits not available in any kind of database; a much better approach than chkrootkit and rkhunter! More user friendly than debsums.

some tiny fixes for xchroot-v2.3.3: corrected group management: xchroot as user may have failed without these fixes; note: released under the same upstream version i.e. 2.3.3 (only package revision has changed).
